Ada Mildred Buckingham 79 of Alvaton, Ky died Saturday night May 7, 2005 at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY. Born in Barren County May 17, 1925 the daughter of the late Leonard and Maude Emerson Edmunds and the wife of 57yrs to Cecil Buckingham. Mrs. Buckingham was a homemaker and a former employee of Mallory's Capacitor. She is a member of the Greenwood Park Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband Cecil Buckingham of Alvaton; 1 son David Buckingham and wife Cathy of Lexington; 1 daughter Brenda Buckingham of Franklin; 5 grand daughters Lisa Rodgers and husband Todd, Angelia Simmons and husband Shane, Pamela Turney and husband Steven, Amy Keeler and husband Dan and Brandy Bridges and husband Dean; 3 great grand daughters Morgan Keeler, Katie Bridges and Georgia Simmons; 2 Great grand sons Alexander Rodgers and Cody Bridges; 2 brothers Thomas Edmunds and wife Ruth and John Edmunds and wife Naomi both of Beckton; 2 sisters in law Virginia and Margaret Edmunds; 1 brother in law Erdy Garrett and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 4 brothers Walter, Charles, Judson and Henry Donold Edmunds; 3 sisters Betsy Garrett, Byrd Atkinson and Flora Edmunds. Funeral services for Mrs Buckingham will be 2:00 PM Tuesday May 10, 2005 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 3:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Home.
