Bessie Chapman

Bessie L. Chapman 75 of Glasgow died Monday, November 15, 2010 at her home. She was born in Barren County a daughter of the late Warren W. and Phoebie Coleman Davis. Her husband was the late Jack Chapman. Mrs. Chapman was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include 4 daughters: Donnie Westmoreland (Davey) of Glasgow, Jackie Sue Copas (Mark) of Tompkinsville, Kerran Chapman of Glasgow and Stacey Daugherty (Jeff) of Glasgow; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Ruth Spann and Barbara Simmons both of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Eva Scott, Dorothy Houchens, Mildred Jones, Jean Frazier and Marion Goode and 3 brothers Roscoe, Joe and Warren Davis. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
