Elbert Mccoy

Elbert Jewell McCoy 89 of Glasgow died Saturday April 16, 2011 at the Glasgow Health & Rehab. Center. Born in Barren County the Son of the late Clint & Minnie Goode McCoy. Mr.McCoy was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, a Farmer and member of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife JoAnn McCoy of Glasgow; 1 son Donnie McCoy & 1 daughter Rebecca Moon both of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren; 1 brother Glen D. 'Billy' McCoy (Alene) of Glasgow ; 1 sister Francis Pedigo of TN; 3 step children Anthony Vibbert (Crystal), Jason Stephens (Teresa) and Crystal Aument all of Glasgow; 10 step grandchildren and several nieces & nephews also survive.In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday April 19, 2011 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Military honors will be provided the the DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 11:00am Monday at the funeral home.
