Ida Armstrong

Margarine Armstrong 83 of Glasgow, KY died Saturday May 28, 2005 at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. Born in Cumberland County, KY she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Verda Davis Garrett. She was also preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Armstrong who died in 1964. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church and a long time employee of Gene's Dress Shop and Watson's Dept. Store. She is survived by a daughter Linda Kinslow and husband Barry of Mt. Washington, KY; 2 sons Harold Armstrong and wife Linda of Glasgow and Charles Armstrong and wife Tammy of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Craig (Sara) Kinslow of Lexington, Allison Armstong of Eugene, Oregon, Amber (Johnny) Hatton, Aaron Armstong and Chase Armstrong all of Glasgow; 2 great grandchildren Tess and Maddey Hatton of Glasgow; 2 sisters Pauline Workman and Dana (Edwin) Bradshaw of Marrowbone, KY and a brother Wesley (Ora) Garrett of Alexandria, LA. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday May 31, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday until time for services at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Glasgow Baptist Church.
