Jessie Mccandless

Jessie B. Ellis McCandless 89 of Glasgow died Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at her residence. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Jake & Mary Houchens Jackson and wife of the late William E. McCandless. Mrs. McCandless was a member of the Pleasant Point Baptist Church and a former longtime employee of J. O. Frank Processing and Colonel Sanders Kentucky Fried Chicken in Glasgow. Survivors include 1 son William Ellis & wife Shirley of Etoile; 3 daughters Shirley Gentry & husband J. T. of Louisville, KY, Naomi Bush of Glasgow and Sheva Lowe & husband John of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her first husband Lucian Ellis, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
