John Strom

John H. Strom 80 of Glasgow died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Montpelier, VT the son of the late John H. Strom and Martha Rowley Tisdale. He was also preceded in death by a sister Sandra Juckett. Mr. Strom and his wife owned and operated their printing business in Boynton Beach, FL for 25 years before retiring in Glasgow. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving four years as a member of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Delray Beach, FL VFW. He was of the Episcopal faith. Survivors include his wife Geneva Neagle Strom; two daughters Paige Booth of West Palm Beach, FL and Heather Manuel (Paul) of Hernando, FL; a son Derrick Strom (Heidi) of Maple Grove, MN; a step-daughter Lesa Cook of Gainesville, GA; a step-son Barry Cook (Lisa) of Franklin, KY; grandchildren Ryan Mainguy, Luke and Ethan Strom, Emily, Elijah and Elisabeth Manuel; step-grandchildren Krista Cook, Katlin Spillman, Joshua and Kristofer Myers and great-grandchildren Bentley Mainguy, Addison Kate Spillman, Kyler, Ryder and Neko Lyons. Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held 4 PM Thursday, January 30th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4pm until service time.
