Kenneth Deckard

Kenneth Lee Deckard 68 of Glasgow died Thursday June 23, 2005 at the T. J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. He was born in Metcalfe County the son of the late Sammy Deckard and Grace Nanny Farbaugh. Mr. Deckard was retired from farming and was of Church of Christ faith. Survivors include his wife Eva Rose Bishop Deckard; 3 sons Richard Deckard and wife Karen, Billy Deckard and wife Cindy and James Michael 'Tootie' Deckard all of Glasgow; 2 brothers Leroy (Carolyn) Deckard and Bobby (Kathy) Deckard both of Glasgow; 1 sister Jean Knowlden of Aumsville, OR; 2 half brothers Floyd (Grace) Deckard and Willard (Bessie) Deckard of Glasgow; a half sister Mae Green of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Jamie, Bo and Paula Deckard; 1 great grandchild Morgan Deckard; 1 step grandchild Heather Proffitt and 1 step great grandchild Jackson Meredith all of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Sadie Moore. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday June 25, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 6:00pm Thursday and continue Friday and Saturday until time for services.
