Lula Mae Adwell 82, of Glasgow died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born September 1, 1925 in Barren County the daughter of Elijah and Minnie Minor Martin and was the wife of Veachel Ray Adwell. Mrs. Adwell was a homemaker and a member of the Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include 10 sons Haskell (Debbie) Adwell of Tennessee; Willie Joe (Peggy), Paul (Carolyn), Doug (Robin), Terry, Howard (Linda), Jerry (Paula), Veachel (Donna), Bruce (Lisa) Adwell of Glasgow,and Larry (Doris) Adwell of Austin. Three daughters Margaret Kinslow (Jerry Baughman), Sandy (Danny) Burris, and Carolyn (Donnie) Perkins of Glasgow. Thirty two Grandchildren: Malcolm (Judy), Scott (Juanita), Travis, Daniel (Amanda), Kelly, Wesley, April, Amy, Allison, Brian (Lelsie), Holly, Haley, Jonathan, Mitch. Scottie, Lacie, Jade, Kelsi and Logan Adwell; Stacey Thomerson, Paige McDonner, Steve (Ann) Kinslow, Mickey Perkins, Brittney (Larry Dale) Martin, Marty Stout II, Angela (Eli) Gilliam, Gary Duncan, Missy White, Ashley (Tyler) Kissinger, Amanda (Travis) Sherfey, Timmy Hawkins, and Tammy Hawkins. Thirty-four Great Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great Grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Martin, and a special friend, Jesse McDonald. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by several half brothers and sisters, one sister, Mary Jane Lucas, three brothers, Ray, Clyde, & Paul Lee Martin. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the funeral home.
