Thomas Morgan, age 81, of Glasgow, died Monday, February 20, 2023 at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Knob Lick, KY on August 20, 1941, to the late Frank Morgan and the late Sofia Jane (Ferguson) Morgan. Thomas Morgan was retired from Houchens Industries and was an avid UK basketball fan. He was an active member of the Glasgow Wesleyan church. He served on the church board for over 50 years. He taught Sunday School at the church for over 40 years. He loved his church and his family. He was a wonderful Christian example and a blessing to many over the years. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Dickerson (Ron) and Donna Bennett (Ricky); one brother, Frank Morgan Jr; grandchildren, Seth Bennett (Monica), Paige Bennett, and Kylie Dickerson; great grandchildren, Trinity, Alexia, Cameron, and Rosie; he is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Aaron) Morgan; siblings, William Hershel Morgan, Clara Mae Onafrey, Virginia Sturgill, Mary Morgan, Eugene Morgan, Elsie Peden, Wilford Morgan, Welby Morgan, Lawrence Morgan, Lucille Hiser, Louise Piper, Aleine Carnahan, Ray Morgan, Albert Morgan, Alberta Morgan, and Leona Simmons. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 26th at Glasgow Wesleyan Church with burial in Big Meadow Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, and 10:00 AM Sunday morning until time for services at the church. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Morgan.
