Reginald "Reggie" Keith Ward, 89, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born November 10, 1933 in Barren County, Kentucky to the late Otto Ward and Sally Perkins Ward. Reggie was a proud United States Navy veteran, serving in the submarine service and achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He fought in the Korean, Cold, and Vietnam Wars. After retiring from the Navy, he worked 23 years as a License Inspector for the City of Glasgow. Reggie loved anything outdoors including fishing, hunting, and farming. He was a longtime member of Bethel Methodist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 70 years, Grace Mayes Ward; two sons, Brian (Valeria) and Bradford (Melanie) Ward; one daughter, Belinda Hill (Stephen); six grandchildren, Daniel and Sarah Ward, Matthew and Ian Hill, Dylan and Logan Ward; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter and two brothers, Rodney Kyle and Ronald Ward.
A memorial service for Mr. Ward will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 4th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with military honors provided by DAV Chapter #20. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
