Ruth Richey

Ruth Arlene Richey 91 of Glasgow died Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Glasgow Health & Rehab Center. Born in Monroe County she was the daughter of the late Jessie & Della Ann Crowe Copas and wife of the late Robert D. Richey. Mrs. Richey was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church and former cook for Barren County School System at Temple Hill. Survivors include 2 sons Steve Richey & wife Sandy of Glasgow and Jeffrey A. Richey & wife Heather of Hattiesburg, MS; 4 grandchildren Trina Nicole Richardson, Jennifer Murley, Jason Richey and Charlie Richey; 6 great grandchildren Taylor, Faith, Neil & Kaylee Murley, Andy Richardson and Brooklyn Richardson Dismon; daughter-in-law Brenda Richey and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Robert S. Richey, a grandson Scott Clark, 3 sisters Imogene Jones, Vona Copas and Ruby Turner and 4 brothers Elmer, Avis, Estes D. and Carsie Copas. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
