Terry Poindexter

Terry Lane "Dooner" Poindexter, 67, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born May 18, 1954, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Clarice Thompson and Nova Lee Thompson. For over 20 years, Dooner drove a fertilizer truck for Barren River Fertilizer. He was loved and will be missed by all that knew him. Survivors include his loving wife, Connie Shaw Poindexter; son, John Poindexter (Robin) of Wisdom; three grandchildren, Kirstian Mathis, Brooklynne Mathis, Jamie Mathis; two sisters, Faye Williams of Glasgow, Wilma Cotton (David) of Cave City; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Terry Lee Poindexter; five sisters; and three brothers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home to aid in funeral expenses. A graveside service for Mr. Poindexter will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 3rd at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with burial to follow. A. F.
