Virgil Shelton

Virgil Frank Shelton 64 of Glasgow died Friday June 10, 2005 at his home. He was born in Glasgow the son of the late Virgil B. and Anna Elizabeth Wheeler Shelton. Mr. Shelton was a life long farmer and he was a Baptist. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jean Huddleston Shelton, a brother John Shelton and a sister Betty Oliver. He is survived by his son Frankie Shelton of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Dewayne, Chelsey and Autumn Shelton all of Glasgow; 2 brothers Wilson Shelton of Temple Hill and Robert 'Bobby' Shelton of Glasgow; 2 sisters Louise Wilkinson of Texas and Geneva Pitcock of Louisville and several nieces and nephews and a special friend Bonnie Gassaway of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday June 12, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00PM Saturday
