William Houchens

William Burchfield Houchens 74 of Glasgow died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at his residence. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Burley & Lucy Steenbergen Houchens. Mr. Houchens was of the Baptist faith and a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife of 51yrs. Helen Marie Lemons Houchens of Glasgow; 2 daughters Elizabeth Sawyers & husband John of Scottsville, KY and Bonnie Young & husband Marty of Glasgow; 2 sons Bill Houchens & wife DeAnna of Rocky Hill, KY and Tony Houchens & wife Belinda of Glasgow; 9 grandchildren Melissa Crabtree, Gary Yokley, Jr., Marquitta Houchens, Ashley Houchens, Brandon Houchens, Brandi Young, Miranda Young, Bart Houchens and Brilee Houchens; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Debbie Houchens, 3 sisters Dorothy Palmore, Wilma Houchens and Alta Elmore and a brother Emil Houchens. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday, December 1, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am Wednesday at the funeral home.
