Addie Lou Miller, a cherished hairdresser and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, in Glasgow, Kentucky, at the age of 90. Born on January 11, 1936, in Marrowbone, Kentucky, Addie dedicated her life to the craft she loved and to the people she adored.

Throughout her career as a hairdresser, Addie touched the lives of many, providing not just a service but also kindness and encouragement to her clientele. Her warm personality and skilled hands left an indelible mark in the hearts of those who visited her. She was a devoted member of the First Church of Nazarene

Addie is survived by her loving daughter, Sue Miller Ward (Stephen), and her cherished granddaughters, Jenni Ward (John Stokes) and Andi Weidner (Joe). She took great joy in her role as a grandmother, and her great-grandsons, Kuyper Weidner and Sheldon Cundiff, and great-granddaughter, Lillith Cundiff, brought her immense pride and happiness.

She is also survived by her caring sister-in-law, Ruth Miller (Chris), and her niece, Sandy Clark. Each of them held a special place in Addie’s heart, and she shared numerous joyous moments with them throughout her life.

Addie was preceded in death by her husband, Milzie Miller, who was her steadfast partner in life. She was also preceded by her brothers, Radford Barton and Earl Barton, and her sister, Lillian Smith, as well as her parents, Andrew Barton and Alean (Day) Barton. Each of these individuals shaped Addie's life in profound ways, and their memories continued to live on through her.

A graveside service to honor Addie will be held at 12:00 PM, February 6th, at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.

Addie Lou Miller’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
