Alma Jean Daffron, 89, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born June 14,1936 to the late Richard Earl Broady and Allie Bell Bunch Broady.

Alma was a woman who embraced life with warmth and joy, finding her greatest happiness in the people she loved. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose kitchen was always full and whose door was always open. Alma enjoyed cooking for family and friends, trying her luck at bingo and the lottery, and spending time gardening and being outdoors. She truly loved people and lived life to the fullest, leaving behind cherished memories that will continue to comfort those who knew her.

She is survived by three children: Gary Daffron, Larry “Ed” Daffron and Rita Daffron. Four grandchildren: Stacy Tinnat (Mike), Melissa Crumpton (Danny), Tabitha Vincent (Wes) and Bailey Houchens (Thomas). 9 great grandchildren: Jenny, Annie, Maddison, Camryn, Tanner, Santana, Mandy, Nathaniel & Daniel. 6 great-great grandchildren: Wilhelmina, Sophia, Brentley, Xarium, Sawyer and Lavoney. Son in law: Randall Bragg and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Bradley “Bob” Daffron, one daughter Wilma Jean Bragg, and one son James Lee Daffron. Two brothers Oren Broady and CL Broady and Two sisters Magaline Barrett and Velma Bell Smith.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 1st, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in the Peers Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, and Sunday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
