Alma Deckard

Alma Jean Knight Lawson Deckard 65 of Glasgow died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the Glasgow Health & Rehab Center. Born in Red Boiling Springs, TN she was the daughter of the late John Knight & Essie Pearl McCarter Knight. She was a member of the Faith General Baptist Church and a former employee of Handmachers in Glasgow. Survivors include her husband William Odell Deckard of Glasgow; a son Charles Douglas Lawson (Deborah) of Ocala, FL; 3 daughters Audrey Pace(Tim), Margie Bunch (Charlie) and Carolyn McGlynn all of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Mandy Turner, Josh Bunch, Adora, Adam, Ariel and Andrew McGlynn; a special grandchild Trevor Reece; 2 great grandchildren Derek Stilts and Alaya Depp; 2 step sons Richard and Danny Deckard both of Tompkinsville; several step grandchildren; a brother Louie Knight and a sister Barbara Harris (Jimmy). In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 2 sisters Evelyn Wilson and Geneva Dudley Householder, a brother Roy Douglas Knight, a half sister Helen Vaughn, a sister in law Jackie Knight and a grandchild Michael Stilts. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Morton-Pritchard Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:30pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
