Alma Irene Jackson

Alma Irene Jackson, a beloved homemaker whose heart mirrored her vibrant spirit, passed away on October 5, 2025, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. Born October 5, 1947, in Glasgow, she devoted her life to caring for others and cherished her time with family and friends.

Her personality was larger than life, with an infectious laughter that would light up every room she entered. Her immense love for those around her left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She was dedicated to her role as a homemaker, finding joy in nurturing her family and creating a warm, loving home.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Ann Runyon-Adams; her brother, Bobby Runyon; her sister-in-law, Judy Poynter (Roger); and several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents, James Orvil Runyon and Ida Mae Meador Runyon; her husband, Jimmy Rondal Jackson; and her sister, Mary Evelyn Jackson. Their memories will forever be intertwined with hers, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

The family invites all who knew Alma to honor her life during the visitation at A.F Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow on October 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. A burial will take place later that day at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
