Anne Parker Miller

Anne Parker Herndon Miller, aged 84, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away on October 19, 2026, at NHC Rehabilitation Facility. Born in Union City, Tennessee, on December 10, 1941, and grew up in Osceola, Arkansas.

She attended Arkansas State University, where she met and married her husband of 63 years, Fred Miller. They had two sons, Joe and Allan. Allan preceded her in death in 2004. With an accounting background, she worked in the travel industry in Texas and California. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed working with them on projects contributing to the comfort of our military who were deployed. She enjoyed spending time growing red and yellow roses, for which she won numerous blue ribbons at the county fair. Her grandson Matthew and his wife Abby were her pride and joy, along with her great-grandchildren Gunnar and Quinn. She and Fred enjoyed traveling together and proudly admit they were able to visit all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Miller; son, Fredrick Joseph Miller III; grandson, Matthew Joseph Miller (Abby); great-grandchildren, Gunnar Miller and Quinn Miller; and her brother, James H. Herndon.

In addition to her parents, James Fredrick Herndon and Edith Dale Hassell, she was preceded in death by her son, James Allan Miller; sister, Betty George; and brother, Tommy Herndon.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 23, 2026, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2026, and after 8:00 AM Friday, until time for the service at the funeral home.
