Anthony Lee Stephens "Pa Tony" passed away on Friday March 11th, 2022, surrounded by love and prayers. Pa Tony was born on Thursday April 27th, 1950, in Glasgow KY to John Douglas and Christine Marie Stephens. He has four siblings. Philip (Janet), Cheryl (John), Gary (Sherri), Janna (Allan). He met and fell in love with Sharon Kaye Barton. The two of them married on Tuesday July 1st, 1969, they are now reunited in heaven. Together they have three children, Traci (Dewayne), Todd (Lori) and Troy (Lindsey) who he loved and adored. Pa Tony was a member at Mt Tabor Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and led singing. He also loved visiting Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He accepted Christ into his heart as a young boy in the living room of his parents home. Pa Tony served in the United States Air Force. He provided for his family many years working at RR Donnelly. He retired in 2013 and spent the rest of his life hunting, fishing, shooting guns and staying very active with his family. Besides his children and siblings Pa Tony is survived by 12 grandchildren. Griffin (Brittany), Chandler, Chastin (Trevor), Chandra (Ethan), Bo (Autumn), Maddee, Jax, Weston, Marlee, Maylen, Knox and John-London. Also, 13 great grandchildren. Trentin, Layne, Addy, Livi, Ezra, Blayklee, Ellie, Isaiah, Max, Cooper, Jhett, Emmie and one sweet baby on the way. Although Pa Tony loved all things outdoors, the true loves of his life were, his wife, his children, all his grands and great grandchildren. His life revolved around his family. He truly had the softest heart, sweetest smile and loved so big. To God be the glory for letting us love and be loved by him. We are truly the lucky ones. Amen. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, March 16th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday morning until time for service at the funeral home. A.F. Crow is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Stephens.
