Austin Worth Perkins, 32, passed away on September 27, 2026.

From a young age, Austin had a heart for helping others. Caring for the people he loved was simply a part of who he was. He was always willing to lend a hand, offer support, or check in to make sure everything was going well. He went out of his way to help friends and family. He made an effort to stay connected with the people he cared for, and his kindness and genuine concern for others touched many lives.

Austin never met a stranger. He was warm, friendly, and quick with a joke. He loved making people laugh and had a way of bringing joy into a room. His laughter and the laughter he instigated are memories that will be treasured always. When sharing a conversation with Austin, it was hard to feel anything but loved. His big heart was evident in the way he cared for his family and friends and in the many small ways he showed people that they mattered.

Austin had a passion for working on cars, a hobby that brought him great enjoyment, but perhaps the greatest source of joy in his life was that of being a father. He loved his son, Tailor, deeply and was incredibly proud of him. Being Tailor’s dad was one of the most important parts of Austin’s life, and the love he had for his son will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

Austin will be remembered for his generous heart, the love he shared with others, his sense of humor, and the genuine warmth he carried with him wherever he went. He leaves behind memories that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Austin is survived by his parents, Byron and Lauri Perkins; his brother, Wade Perkins; his sister, Jessica Perkins (Cassidy); and his beloved son, Tailor.

Though Austin’s life was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he was the source of, and the lives he touched will live on in those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
