Barbara Jean Jewell

Barbara Jean Jewell, 79 of Glasgow, died Wednesday August 13, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Samuel McClellan and the late Callie Jones McClellan. Mrs. Jewell was a Homemaker and member of the Grider Memorial Baptist Church. Survivor include her husband Weldon Jewell of Glasgow; 3 daughters Linda Cross (Doug), Nancy Harris (Kent) both of Glasgow and Brenda Green (Jeff Hall) of Tompkinsville; 1 son Timmy Jewell of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren Chris Wheeler, Scott Wheeler, Kim Mathis (David), Tracy Huff (Louie), Ashley Patrick, Madison Green, Regan Jewell all of Glasgow & Douglas Cross of CA; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers Billy Johnson & Gaylord McClellan; 2 sisters Flossie Garner & Dorothy Davidson; 1 great grandchild Destinie Huff. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday August 16, 2014 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
