Bertha Jones

Bertha L. Jones 103 of Glasgow died Monday, June 06, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. Born in Burkesville, KY she was the daughter of Harold Alexander Ferguson and Cora Wells Ferguson. Her husband was the late Stanley Hines Jones. Mrs. Jones was a former employee of Handmacher in Glasgow and had been a member of the First United Methodist Church and attended the First Christian Church in Glasgow. She enjoyed playing Rook with her Rook Club buddies for over 50 years. She is survived by 3 sons Stanley H. Jones, Jr. (Katie) of Nicholasville, James H. "Jimmy" Jones (Karen) of Glasgow and Michael B. "Mike" Jones (Martha Ellen) of Bowling Green; 7 grandchildren Stanley H. Jones III, Jeffrey S. Jones, Mark F. Jones, Roy Hines Jones, Matthew B. Jones, Amanda M. Jones and Amy Kate Peppers; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Ruth Reneau of Albany, KY and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister Thelma Ferguson Terrell and 2 brothers Tip and Rollin Ferguson. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, June 10th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm until 8pm and Friday from 10am until 1pm.
