Bobby Gene Minor

Bobby Gene Minor, age 88, of Horse Cave, KY, passed away, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow. He was born in Metcalfe County on June 16, 1936, to the late Willie Minor and the late Lucy (Thomas) Minor. He was retired from LG&E and was a member of Allen Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Jean Minor; daughters, Connie Peterie (Stan), Pam Rock (Garry); grandchildren, Tyler Peterie (Brittany), Natalie Peterie (Jeffery), Andy Piper (Kayli), Jordan Piper, Brittany Bryant (Kevin); 15 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mickey Minor and Shirley Matney; brother-in-law, Larry England (Linda).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Minor; sisters, Eunice Glass and Nell Chapman.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 31st at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Houk Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, and Saturday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
