Buford Pickett

Buford Randall Pickett, age 66, of Calvert City, Kentucky, formerly of Glasgow, Kentucky, died Monday, October 9, at his home after a brave and lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Adair County, Kentucky, and was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Vivian Pickett; 3 brothers, Russell, Denvie and Jerry Pickett; and 2 sisters, Lillian McLean and Velma Rogers. He was a retired grocery and tobacco wholesaler, and was an avid fisherman, enjoying bass fishing around his home near Kentucky and Barkley Lakes. He is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah Alexander and husband Brad of Glasgow, Kentucky, and Katie Pickett of Westminster, Maryland; one son, Terry Pickett and fiance
