Carlos Mitchell Green

Carlos Mitchell Green, age 82, of Glasgow, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on July 11, 1942, to the late James Edward Green and the late Lois Gunnell Houchens Green. Carlos proudly served his country in the US Army and is a Vietnam Veteran.

Carlos is survived by his daughter, Carlesia Taylor (Jackie); grandchildren, Mitchell Green (Kayla), Jerred Taylor (Courtney), and Harlee Vance (Casy); great grandchildren, Case, Nova, Paisleigh, Neva, Sawier, and Raelynn; brother, Larry Green (Kaye); sisters-in-law, Ilene Thomas (Richard), Fannie Carver (Ellis), and Eula Vibbert (Wayne); daughter-in-law, Stacy Green; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Elizabeth Green; one son, Michael Shane Green; and one brother, Leon Green.

A graveside service for Mr. Green will begin at 1:30, Monday, January 13th at Old Zion Cemetery, with military honors provided by the DAV Chapter #20.
