Carolyn Allison

Carolyn Cates Allison 90 of Eatonton, GA formally of the Austin community died Sunday, March 25, 2012 at her residence in Eatonton, GA. Born in Durham, NC she was the daughter of the late Grady and Annie Grace Harris Cates and wife of the late Charles R. Allison. Mrs. Allison was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include 1 son Steve Allison of Austin, KY; 2 daughters Janet Wilkie of Eatonton, GA and Mary Ann Shell of Atlanta, GA; 4 grandchildren Joshua Stephens Allison, Jennifer Lynn Allison, Jordan Ethan Allison and Thomas B. Shell. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 2 brothers James and H. G. Cates. Graveside services will be held 2PM Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, and Wednesday from 11AM until 1:30 PM at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
