Charles Pierce

Charles Elmo Pierce, age 75 of Leitchfield, passed away Saturday, June 9th 2018 at his residence. He was born, September 10th 1942 in Leitchfield, KY the son of Sylvester & Ina Clemons Pierce. He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church and a truck driver for the City of Leitchfield. He is survived by his wife, Betty Stevenson Pierce, three children, Rose Armstrong, Wayne Hayes (Rita), & Bonnie Pierce (Greg Embry), eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four sisters, Joyce Carter (W.R), Sandra Bierly (Richard), Phyllis Higdon, & Ann Casebier (Bill), four brothers, Oran Pierce (Faye), Bruce Pierce (Donna), Mike Pierce (Melanie), & Dwayne Pierce (Carol), and several nieces & nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tom Hayes, one brother, Carmon Pierce, & one sister, Carol Sumner.
