Charlie E. Garmon, 77, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born July 13, 1944, in Metcalfe County, Kentucky to the late Ervin Garmon and Robbie Norris Garmon. In his early life, Charlie was a farmer and drove a milk truck before he began working at T. J. Samson Community Hospital for over 48 years, he worked in the laundry department at T. J. Samson, and he was saved in April 2018 and baptized in August of that year and attended Canaanland Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Faye Massey Garmon whom he married on April 16, 1966; two sons, Scottie Garmon (Rita) of Glasgow, Steve Garmon (Robin) of Summer Shade; four grandchildren, Ryan Garmon, Javan Garmon, Rhiannon Garmon, Michael Garmon; four brothers, Bobby Garmon of Greensburg, Roger Garmon, Tommy Garmon (Lisa) both of Knob Lick, and Freddie Garmon (Linda) of Glasgow; three sisters, Hazel Corbin Rutledge (Mac) of Haywood, Wanda York, Barbara York, both of Greensburg; nineteen nieces; and fifteen nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Sherman Garmon; one sister, Shirley Corbin; two nieces; one special niece Kara Jo Massey; and one nephew. The funeral service for Mr. Garmon will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 22nd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A. F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted in the care of Mr. Garmon.
