Chester Glenn Bishop II

Chester Glenn Bishop Il, 68, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, doing what he loved-riding his motorcycle. He was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, to Chester Glenn Bishop and Doris Harlow Bishop, who both survive him.

The greatest love of his life was his wife of 53 years, Teresa Francis Bishop, who survives and misses him deeply. He adored animals of all kinds, but he held a very special place in his heart for his cats and his dog, Ellie. Glenn was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast---riding was where he felt most free.

In addition to his parents and devoted wife, Teresa, Glenn is survived by his younger sister, Dana Powell (Bruce); nieces and nephews, Danielle Elmore (Jarrod), Dakota Pierce (Andrea), Jerry Francis, Will Powell (Katelyn), and Jodie Suddth (Dustin). He also leaves behind several great-nieces and nephews who thought he hung the moon: Avery Elmore, Adalyn Elmore, Autumn Pierce, Vann Powell, and Arthur Suddth. He had close friends and cousins who will also miss his steady and kind presence.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willard and Pauline Harlow; paternal grandparents, Chester and Ana Mae Bishop; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leon and Vera Francis; and his brother-in-law, Eddie Francis.

The family has honored Glenn's wishes with cremation, under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
