Connie Fay Thomas, 77, of Kentucky, passed away on October 11, 2026, at Signature of Hart County in Horse Cave, Kentucky. Born on September 19, 1949, in Glasgow, Kentucky, Connie was the daughter of the late Coy Saltsman and the late Mary Susan Coomer Saltsman. She built a life centered on family, steady work, and the simple joys that brought her happiness. She worked as a bookkeeper for several places in Glasgow, including NHC Healthcare and the Glasgow Daily Times. Her care and dedication in that work reflected the dependable and thoughtful way she lived her life.
Connie found special joy in watching hummingbirds, camping, and, above all, spending time with her loved ones. Those who knew her will remember the warmth she brought to family gatherings and the quiet happiness she found in being with the people she loved most.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Thomerson (David); her grandchildren, Jamie Walsh (Cody), Kate Thomerson, and Andrew Thomerson; and her great-grandchildren, Lucas Cross, Noah Cross, Macy Cross, and Otto Walsh. She is also survived by her sister, Alice Piper (Gilbert); her brother, C.L. Saltsman (Judy); and several nieces and nephews. Connie’s family was a lasting source of pride and love in her life, and her memory will continue to live on in each of them.
In addition to her parentes, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ray Thomas; her brother, Will Saltsman; her sister, Carol Pierce; and her brother-in-law, James Pierce.
Her family has honored Connie's wishes with cremation under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
