Cora Coffey

Cora Ruth Coffey 79 of Glasgow died Friday, December 25, 2009 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late John & Beula Mae Harper Bragg. Mrs. Coffey was a Homemaker and a member of the Savoyard Baptist Church. Survivers include her husband Joe Powell Coffey of Glasgow; a son Steve Coffey (Lisa) of Hiseville, KY; a daughter Linda Paulette Wheeler (William) of Glasgow; two grandchildren Sharon Poynter (Curtis) of Edmonton and Justin Coffey of Hiseville; nine great grandchildren Taylor, Danyel, Haley, Zackary, Jordan, Shannon, Amanda, Austin and Chevy; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Russell Bragg, two sisters Frances Jennings and Ollie Smith and a granddaughter Linda Rena Pedigo. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, December 28, 2009 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
