Cora Beth Neill, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on August 3, 2026, at UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, at the age of 44. Born on July 17, 1982, in Gallatin, Tennessee, Cora’s life was filled with warmth, devotion, and an enduring spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Cora’s journey through life reflected her endless dedication to personal growth. She was pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Colorado Technical College and was anticipated to graduate this coming October, a milestone she worked tirelessly toward with deep commitment. Prior to her ongoing academic pursuits.
Family was the cornerstone of Cora’s world. Her children Alexis Oden (Tyrone Franklin Jr.), Dawson Oden (Hayley Poynter), and Brayden Neill (Lydia Goosetree) survive her, each carrying forward her legacy of kindness, humor, and resilience. She was known by her grandchildren, Cooper Johnston, Kylan Franklin, Kaisley Oden, Creeden Vibbert, and Enayah Neill, as “Lollie,” a title she wore with pride and deep affection. Cora’s role as “Lollie” was never just a name; it symbolized her deep love for her grandchildren, with whom she shared countless cherished moments. Spending time with them brought her the greatest joy, and her presence will be deeply missed in their lives.
Cora also leaves behind her brother, Troy Wesley Neill; nephews, Titan Neill and Seth Neill,; her niece, Jerica Neill, and devoted family such as Teddy Oden, Dixie Amons, and Suzanne Earley, all of whom were touched by her unique spirit and unwavering support.
Cora was preceded in death by her father, Troy Dale Neill, and her mother, Teena Amons Neill. Their memory remained a guiding light in her life, shaping her values and strengthening the love she extended so generously to others.
Those who knew Cora will remember her zest for life and her distinct passions. Shopping was her favorite pastime; she could spend hours exploring stores, delighting in the search for her favorite treasures. Beyond her interests, Cora was known for her strong spiritual side, a quality that provided her with strength during life’s challenges and fostered hope and compassion in those she loved.
To all whose lives she touched, Cora Beth Neill’s memory will endure as a testament to the love, wisdom, and joy she shared. Her absence is deeply felt, but her legacy will continue through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
The family has honored Cora's wishes with cremation under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, August 7, 2026 at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive guests starting at 9:00 AM until time for the service at the funeral home.
