Cova Gibson

Cova Gibson, age 88 of Clarkson, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at the Grayson Manor Nursing Facility in Leitchfield. She was born February 19, 1925 in Grayson County, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Lacy Hal Spencer. She is survived by three children, Maxwell Gibson (Doris), Shelby Gibson (Patty), & Dianna Poteet (Gary) all of Clarkson, twelve grandchildren, and twenty-nine great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Gibson, one son, Jerry Gibson, and twelve brothers & sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield with Bro. Junior Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Little Flock Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
