Donald James Francis "Hondo", born on March 13, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully in Glasgow, Kentucky on July 19, 2026. A devoted father, cherished brother, and treasured friend, Donald’s life was marked by love, resilience, and steady kindness that enriched all who knew him.

Among those who held a special place in his heart is his devoted partner of 34 years, Jenny, who he shared many great memories with. Donald is also survived by his beloved daughters: Nikki Bradley (Austin), Cami Garrett Martin (Ryan), Cari Puleo (Carl), and Dawn Angermeier (Tom), as well as his son, Jon Garrett (Sherry). He is also remembered fondly by his sisters, Debbie and Peggy, and his brothers, Dave, Ronnie, and Larry. His love extended through the generations, as evidenced by his several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his father, Charles Herbert Francis, his mother, Melinda Marie Ary, his brother Herbert, and his stepfather, Darrell. Their memory and the bonds they shared with Donald remain a source of comfort and strength for those who mourn his passing.

A memorial service to honor Donald’s life will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at A.F Crow & Son Funeral Home, all who knew and loved Donald are invited to come together and celebrate the legacy of a life well lived.
