Dorothy Madison

Dorothy Holman Madison 78 of Smiths Grove, died Tuesday February 11, 2014 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late James Marshall Lowe and Aline Margaret Payne Lowe. Dorothy was a former employee of Sorensen Mfg. and the Eaton Corp. and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband David; two sons Neal (Rita) Holman and Timmy (Donna) Holman of Smiths Grove; 4 grandchildren Chris, Nelson, Scott and Eric Holman; a step-grandchild Nita Wells; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 3 brothers James Lowe, Jr. (Marie), Steve Lowe (Karla) of Railton and Jerry Lowe (Judy) of Florida; 1 sister Frances Whitley of Smiths Grove and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Wendell 'Pete' Holman and a brother Wesley Lowe. Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, February 14th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4pm Thursday.
