Earline Franklin

Earline Wells Franklin 82 of Glasgow died Saturday, August 13, 2016 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County she was a daughter of the late Earl and Allie Weaver Wells. She had been a special education school teacher and was a seamstress and worked for several local businesses. Mrs. Franklin was a member of the Temple Hill Baptist Church, The Temple Hill Golden Oldies, Lions Club and Homemakers. She is survived by her husband Elton Wayne Franklin; 2 sons Tim Franklin (Cathy Lester Franklin) and Don Franklin (Sheila Green Franklin) both of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Kayla Tennille LeRoy (Zack) and Kelsie Martin (Brandon); 1 great-grandchild Kenzie LeRoy; 2 sisters Yvonne Myers and Cora Spear (Robert); and 3 brothers James Wells (Virginia), Bruce Wells (Shirley) and Freddie Wells (Katie) all of Glasgow. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 16th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Monday.
