Edward Blanton

Edward Blanton, age 98 of Leitchfield, passed away Saturday, September 30th 2017 at his residence. He was born March 22nd 1919 in Leitchfield, KY the son of Amos & Mary Dunn Blanton. He was a farmer and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is survived by five daughters, Barbara Wm. Davis (Larry) of Leitchfield, Carolyn Watson of Columbus, OH, Althea McKinney (Ron) of Leitchfield, Vickie Decker (Ronnie) of Leitchfield, & Gayle Holland (Thomas) of Woodstock, GA, four sons, Roger Blanton (Kathleen) of Leitchfield, Earl Blanton (Brenda) of Leitchfield, Larry Blanton (Tonya) of Hopkinsville, KY, & Calvin Blanton (Tonya) of Leitchfield, thirty-nine grandchildren, sixty-one great grandchildren, and twenty-two great-great grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Fulkerson Blanton, four grandchildren, Kimberly Escue, Chaz Decker, Steve, & Neil Blanton, and eleven siblings.
