Etta Butler

Etta LaJoyce Butler 74 of Glasgow died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at her residence. Born in Texas she was the daughter of the late Ulner & Mildred Youngblood Young and wife of the late William Butler. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Serita. Mrs. Butler was a member of the Hanging Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 sons Daryl Butler (Tracie) and Harold Butler (Tina Glass) both of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Nathan Butler, Heather Berube (Mike), Misty Cawthorn (Chris), Corey Butler and Caitlyn Butler; 4 great grandchildren; 4 sisters Jakie Newman and Deloris Tuffey of Texas, Virginia Rapier of Tennessee and Dorothy Hankins of Cave City; 4 brothers Billy Young of Texas, Boyd Butler of Glasgow, Alvin Young of Glasgow and T. J. Young of Texas; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, May 21, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
