Eva Lois Spencer, 88, of Glasgow, passed away peacefully in her favorite place, her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on May 5, 2026. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on June 4, 1937, to the late S.B. Johnson and the late Rose Bailey Johnson. Eva worked at the pants factory for several years and retired from Mallory Capacitor, and was also the first person to retire from ASC in Bowling Green, Kentucky. After retirement, Eva enjoyed gardening and working on the farm, but loved spending time with her family more than anything.
She is survived by her six children, Patricia Davis (Kenneth), Vickie Witty (Larry McMahan), Gary Spencer (Brenda), Pam Spencer, Karen Spencer Miller (Kenneth Joiner), and Terry Spencer; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bernice Spencer; brothers, Eugene Johnson, Albert Johnson, James Earl Johnson, and James Edward Johnson; and her sisters, Lenora Parker Sabens, Evelyn Keys, Louise Turner, and Wilma Dillingham.
A special thank you goes out to her caregivers who always went above and beyond for Eva: Tammy, Bobbi, Demetria, and Donna.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M, Sunday, May 10th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
