Gary Scott, 62, of Glasgow, passed away, Saturday, May 31, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on September 4, 1962, in Glasgow to the late Buford Scott and the late Wilella (Cloyd) Scott. He was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church where he attended faithfully. Gary was a farmer and through his hard work and passion for dairy cattle, he created a legacy farm, Stovall Cattle. His family is proud to continue his life’s work and dedication to agriculture. He leaves behind a loving family that will carry forward his memory and ideals.

Gary is survived by his wife, Diane Scott; his son, Cole Scott (McKinnley); his daughter, Alex Pennington; and his cherished grandchildren, Ripp Scott and Guss Scott. He is also survived by his brother, Jeff Scott (Teresa) and his sister, Michelle England (Charlie). He is remembered fondly by several nieces and nephews and had a special bond with his friends, Joe and Jill Leftwich.

 In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Scott.

Gary traveled many miles buying and selling cattle and forged friendships across the United States. He will always be known for his big personality, quick wit and sense of humor, and the best stories told. Gary will forever be remembered in the memories shared by all those that loved him.

 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memory of Jason Leftwich. 

The funeral service for Mr. Scott will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 5th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Park City. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 4th, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
