Geneva Mae Tabor-Toms 85 of Glasgow died Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Glasgow Health & Rehab Center. She was the daughter of the late Webb & Sallie Jones Tabor. Ma is what everyone called her, a hardworking farmers wife married on August 29, 1947 to Leroy Toms for 37 years before he died in 1984. Ma was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a member of the Dover Baptist Church. Survivors include 3 sons David Toms & wife Jo of Bowling Green, KY, Billy Joe Toms & wife Trish and Dennis Toms both of Glasgow; 4 daughters Becky Peden & husband Charles of Glasgow, Sally Nunn & husband Terry of Bowling Green, KY, Cindy Halstead & husband Herb of Bowling Green, KY and Tammy Glass of Glasgow; 17 grandchildren Chris Toms (Tracy), Daniel Toms (Kristi), Brian Peden (Amy), Renee & Casey Peden, Jeff Toms, Chris, Mike & Shane Thompson, Charity Gravile, Brittany Nunn, Carissa Uptegraff, Josh Lewis (Kristie), Kenny Glass (Megan) and Michelle Carver (Jeremy); 32 great grandchildren; 1 sister Betty Priddy of Bowling Green; 1 brother D. W. Tabor of Florida; a caregiver Terri Adams and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 6 sisters Marie Russell, Elizabeth Grimes, Earlene Gammon, Myrtle Hudson, Eva Ramsey & Frances Tabor, 4 brothers Ralph, James, Everett & Joe Tabor and a daughter-in-law Debbie Toms. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
