In Loving Memory of Gregory Lewis Shubert
April 21, 1963 – October 31, 2026
Gregory Lewis Shubert, 63, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2026, with his loving wife by his side.
Greg was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was a Christian man whose faith in God was an important part of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, family, and memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
Greg enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially hunting and fishing. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoying the things that brought him happiness. These were some of the passions that made him who he was. Greg also proudly served his country as a United States Marine. He carried the pride, honor, and dedication of being a Marine throughout his life. His service to our country was an important part of who he was, and he will always be remembered and honored for his sacrifice and commitment. Once a Marine, always a Marine.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Shubert, who stood by his side and shared life's journey with him.
He is also survived by his children: Gregory Shubert II and his wife, Christie Shubert; Stephanie Hall and her husband, Andrew Hall; and Summer Shubert. He is also survived by his stepson, Kyle Lutzen.
Greg was a proud grandfather to Alexis Shubert, Gretchen Shubert, Ansley Shubert, Gavin Hall, Gabriel Hall, Grayson Hall and Cambria Hall. His grandchildren were a special part of his life, and the love he had for his family will live on through them. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Greg was the son of Dee Galloway and stepson of Tom Galloway, who survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lew Shubert; his sister, Angela Smith; his grandfather, Guy Shubert; and his grandmother, Virginia Shubert.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing that Greg is no longer suffering and is resting in the arms of his Lord and Savior. His earthly journey has ended, but his faith, love, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
