Hazel Runell Davis, 85, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away peacefully Monday, June 17, 2024 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky surrounded by her family. She was born December 7, 1938 in Wisdom, Kentucky to the late Vernon Pedigo and Nanny “Ollie” Taylor Pedigo. Runell was an assembly line operator at Mallory for over 40 years and was a devoted member of Glasgow Baptist Church. She loved sewing and quilt making in her free time. She was loved and cherished by her entire family.


Survivors include three children, Wayne Neal, Kathy Neal, Barbara Ann Poston (Randy); one stepson, Ernie Davis (Rose); four grandchildren, Derek Neal (Krista), Drake Neal, Jessica Gassaway (Adam), Nathan Poston; five step grandchildren, Michelle Pate (Dewayne), Amanda Smith, Jeremy Davis (Pier), Vanessa McGee, Carrie Tobar (Jesus); five great grandchildren, Maddox, Jakkson, Locklynn, and Finn Neal, Landon Gassaway; 12 step great grandchildren, Morgan Hill, Shelby Hill, Abby Smith, Megan Smith, Gabby, Joseph, Miguel and Leandro Menjivar, Hutton Davis, Norah Davis, Annabella Tobar, Lilliana Tobar; three step great great grandchildren, Mariah, Christina, Aaron; and three sisters, Maxine Turner, Barbara Dial, and Bonnie Gassaway.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Joe” Davis and stepdaughter, Rebecca “Becky” McGee.


The funeral service for Mrs. Davis will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 22nd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
