Henry Melton

Henry Earl 'Pappy' Melton 76 of Glasgow died Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Glasgow Health & Rehab Center. Born in Tennessee he was the son of the late Charlie & Vinnie Blakely Melton and husband of the late Patsy Ann Stone Melton. Mr. Melton was a former employee of the Glasgow Golf & Country Club. Survivors include 2 daughters Linda Gray of Bowling Green, KY and Nancy Melton of Glasgow; 2 brothers James Melton of Glasgow and Charles Melton of Texas; 3 sisters Judy Cissell of Glasgow, Elsie Cissell of Florida and Jenny Cissell of Louisville, KY; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren also survive. In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by a brother Arvil Melton, 2 sisters Hilda Huff and Evelyn Etherton; a grandson Anthony Melton and a great grandson Cody Beaty. Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bon Ayr Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
