Herbert Emmitt

Herbert Lee Emmitt 93 of Glasgow, died Tuesday April 8, 2008 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Blueth and Margarette Ann Mills Emmitt. Mr. Emmitt was self-employed in the Logging industry and was a member of the Brotherhood Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter Mary Jane Kingrey (Jim) of Glasgow; 2 sons Arnold Emmitt (Patsy) of Smiths Grove and Jimmy Emmitt (Shirley) of Smiths Grove; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Bunch Emmitt, a son Rondal Emmitt and 3 sisters, Christine Groce, Nora Coulter and Myrtie Ritter. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday April 11, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6:00pm Thursday.
