James Bland

James Bland, age 84 of Leitchfield passed away, Monday, June 12th 2017 at his residence. He was born December 3rd 1932 in Hardin Springs, Kentucky, the son of Hobert & Goldie Givan Blan. He was a farmer and a foundry worker for 32 years for Crucible Steel. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ella Jane Bruner Bland, his children, Donald Bland (Sissy), Jan Powell (Dale), & Jewell Conklin (Eric), brothers, Delbert Blan (Lynn) & Gene Blan (Pearl), sisters, Delcie Meyers, Katherine Williams (Robert), & Mattie Miller (Dale), four grandchildren, Wes Bland, Shannon Aebersold, Rebecca Powell, & Sam, and six great grandchildren, Cameron & Autumn Bland, Bryce Aebersold, Faith-Anne Williams, Landon Tritchler, & Jaina. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Phillip, Paul, & Junior Bland.
