James Anthony Harrison

James Anthony Harrison, a beloved musician and talented guitar player, was born on July 22, 1957, in Glasgow, Kentucky. He departed this life on December 27, 2025, at his residence, leaving behind a legacy of musical artistry and cherished memories.

James is survived by his daughter, Melyssa Marlene Harrison; his son, James Wesley Harrison; and his siblings, Kimberly Harrison Gillenwater, Cynthia Harrison McCormick, Melinda Harrison Feese, and Steven Allen Harrison. He also leaves behind his grandson, Noah Aiden Harrison, along with several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry his memory forward in their hearts.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Thomas Harrison, and his mother, Marlene Jewell (Whitley) Harrison.

The family has chosen cremation, entrusted to the care of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.   A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. 

James Anthony Harrison's legacy will continue to resonate within the music community and with all who had the privilege of knowing him. His family and friends will forever cherish the joy he brought into their lives.
