James Albert Staples, 69, of Glasgow, died Tuesday March 18, 2008 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Glasgow December 5, 1938 the son of the late Charles S. and Janie Gravens Staples. He attended the Glasgow First Assembly of God church. Mr. Staples was a U.S Marine Corps veteran and was an active member and an officer of Glasgow, KY Area Marine Corp League Detachment #584. He was retired from Houchens Industries after 36 years and was presently employed with the Barren County Sheriff
