James Williams

James Wesley Williams 88 of Glasgow, KY died Sunday July 23, 2006 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late James Alonzo Williams and Lillie Cheatham Williams. Mr. Williams was a farmer and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII where he received the EAME Bronze Star Award. He was a member of the Dover Baptist Church and the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Lou Jane Nuckols Williams; 1 daughter Karen Fox (Edward) of Glasgow; 2 grandsons Chad and Colby Fox of Glasgow; 1 sister Ruth Suter of Booneville, IN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Paul Williams and 2 sisters Mary Frances Suter and Evelyn DeWeese. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, July 26th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm on Tuesday.
